Brenda Foreman
Ms. Brenda Foreman, Former Honorary Consul of St. Kitts and Nevis, and Chair of the Caribbean Consular Corps in Toronto, Ms. Foreman is a business leader, radio host, lecturer, publisher, award-winning community activist and educator, with a notable trajectory expanding over 20 years in St. Kitts and Nevis and the Toronto Greater Area. Throughout her career, she has worked extensively with multinational private and public companies, leading strategic programs in corporate identity, positioning and representation. As CEO of her Toronto-based consulting firm over the last decade, and President of a Not-for-Profit organization that supports artists, (Afro Centre for the Arts) Ms. Foreman has left her mark on the social and cultural spheres of Toronto’s Caribbean and African diasporic communities as well as on the artistic and creative curriculum development of the Toronto District School Board. Her dynamic and charitable approach to community service has landed her on multiple executive boards and advisory committees dedicated to the advocacy of political and human rights, the advancement of economic and social welfare, and the promotion of Afrocentric art and black creators. Ms. Foreman is a human rights advocate and a champion of reparatory justice for Africans and people of African Descent. In the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis, Ms. Foreman managed independent projects that supported efforts for women and youth empowerment and works collaboratively with the Ministry of Culture and the Department of Creative Economy to create programs that benefits the workers employed in the cultural industry. Having attended the Cayon High School, she has been an active member of her graduate group fundraising to support the local schools of her parish. Her experience has served well the Diaspora and St. Kitts Nevis community in Canada.
